How it works

The project consists of two main components:

  • A Field Guide Website: A multilingual site that catalogues 33 specific "AI-slop tells" with interactive before-and-after demos showing how to fix them.
  • An Agent Skill: A tool (kill-ai-slop) that can be integrated into coding agents (like Claude Code or Cursor) or run as a standalone scanner. It scans web project code for signals of these design tells, explains why they look machine-made, and proposes or applies clean fixes based on a shared taxonomy.
