Removes 20+ patterns of AI slop from any piece of writing.

What it solves

It removes repetitive, predictable patterns of AI-generated writing (referred to as "slop") that often make text sound generic and robotic. It aims to clean up AI-assisted writing while preserving the author's unique personal voice, vocabulary, and cadence.

How it works

The project is implemented as a "skill" or plugin that can be installed into AI agents like ChatGPT, Claude Code, or Codex. It uses a set of defined editing rules and a validation workflow to identify and remove over 20 specific patterns, such as binary contrasts, throat-clearing openers, and fake-profound endings. It can either edit text to remove these patterns or simply detect and quote them.

Who it’s for

Writers and creators who use AI to edit or draft their work but want to avoid the generic "AI sound" and maintain a human-like quality in their writing.

Highlights

  • Detects and removes 20+ specific AI writing patterns, including binary contrasts and superficial analysis.
  • Preserves personal voice and lists specific changes made during editing.
  • Supports detection mode to quote slop patterns without guessing if the text was AI-written.
  • Can be installed globally via npx or by prompting a coding agent.
  • Includes a satire mode to intentionally generate "cringe" AI slop.
