AI Hardware Builds
Real hardware, given an AI brain: cheap toys and spare parts rewired so an agent can hear, talk and move — with every wire, wrong turn and photo along the way.
- I turned a $4 toy robot into an AI robot that talks back
A toy robot from a Chinese marketplace app, an old Android phone, a little FT232H board, a few wires, a piece of cardboard and two rubber bands. A month later it listens when you talk, drives itself, answers back — and if you bark at it twice, it turns around and runs. This is how it came together, one step at a time, along with the very dumb but very funny mistakes I made on the way.
