valqore/valqore
Safety-first guardrails for AI-driven cloud and Kubernetes operations
What it solves
Valqore is an infrastructure governance engine designed to prevent security vulnerabilities, compliance failures, and excessive costs in cloud environments. It addresses the challenge of managing complex Kubernetes manifests, Terraform configurations, and live cloud resources by providing a deterministic scoring system and a clear verdict (PASS, PASS_WITH_MONITORING, or BLOCK) to ensure infrastructure is hardened before deployment.
How it works
Valqore scans configuration files and live cloud accounts using over 1,400 built-in rules. It operates as a read-only engine that can be integrated into local development via CLI/Docker, CI/CD pipelines as a quality gate, or directly into Kubernetes as an admission controller using ValidatingAdmissionPolicy. It also offers an AI-powered version that runs a fine-tuned model fully offline to provide natural-language explanations and interactive chat for remediation advice.
Who it’s for
It is built for DevOps engineers, SREs, security auditors, and platform teams who need to enforce governance, sustainability (GreenOps), and compliance (such as HIPAA, SOC2, and the EU AI Act) across their cloud infrastructure and AI agent fleets.
Highlights
- AI Agent Governance: Specialized tools like
agent-auditandagent-gateto discover, score, and block risky changes proposed by AI agents based on blast-radius caps. - GreenOps Integration: Built-in carbon tracking for 77 cloud regions, providing CO2e emissions estimates and suggestions for greener regions.
- Comprehensive Compliance: 19 pre-configured compliance packs including OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications, EU AI Act, and FedRAMP.
- Offline AI Analysis: A licensed image featuring an embedded model for AI-powered scans and chat without sending code to external servers.
- Infrastructure Drift Detection: Ability to compare Terraform state against live cloud resources to identify unauthorized changes.
