It provides an all-in-one installation package that includes the Node.js runtime and the dsh backend, making it accessible to non-technical users.

How it works

Bigfish uses Electron to wrap the DeepSeek Harness backend (@deepseek-ai/dsh) and a React UI. The main process manages the lifecycle of the dsh backend, finds an available local port, launches the backend as a child process, and then loads the UI into a native desktop window. It also includes a built-in pnpm engine to manage the installation of plugins from a community market.
