How it works

The project integrates the local Web UI, Host services, and plugin system of a specific version of DeepSeek Harness into a native desktop wrapper. It treats the desktop shell itself—including the window management, system tray, and update mechanisms—as a plugin within the DeepSeek Harness plugin architecture. This allows the desktop application to combine native OS capabilities with the core agentic capabilities of the upstream project without modifying the original source code.
