qu-ai-wei is designed to remove the "AI-flavored" (stilted, formulaic, or translation-style) quality of Simplified Chinese text. It transforms rigid, repetitive, and overly formal AI-generated content into natural-sounding language while strictly preserving the original facts, judgments, technical terms, and the author's original voice.

How it works

The project operates as an "Agent Skill" that follows a structured multi-step process rather than simple keyword replacement:

  1. Verification: Checks for credentials and editing authorization.
  2. Locking: Secures numbers, names, dates, technical terms, and causal relationships to prevent factual drift.
  3. Scanning: Identifies and removes empty phrases, mechanical symmetry, and translationese based on eight specific pattern families.
  4. Restructuring: Reorganizes the sequence of facts, explanations, and conclusions, and adjusts paragraphing for longer texts.
  5. Final Review: Verifies that the original evidence strength and voice are maintained in the final draft.
