How it works
Built on Electron and integrated with the VCPToolBox backend, VCPChat uses a specialized rendering engine (VCPMessageRenderer V4) that treats each message as a micro-application with its own lifecycle. It employs a distributed communication system and a virtualized API (vcpAPI) to allow AI agents to execute tools, manage files across different server nodes, and push content to a dedicated AI-native desktop (VCPDesktop). The system supports multi-agent collaboration through group chats with sophisticated turn-taking logic and shared workspaces.
