Open Source AI trading agent that operates autonomously across 1000+ markets - Polymarket, Kalshi, Binance, Hyperliquid, Solana DEXs, 5 EVM chains. Scans for edge, executes instantly, manages risk while you sleep. Agent commerce protocol for machine-to-machine payments. Self-hosted. Built on Claude.
Clodds — AI‑powered trading terminal
What it is – Clodds is a self‑hosted, command‑line‑plus‑WebChat application that lets you talk to an AI (Claude‑based) to trade on dozens of prediction‑market platforms, crypto spot markets, leveraged perpetual futures, launch new Solana tokens, and even mine on Bittensor subnets. All interactions happen through natural‑language chat on any of 21 messaging services (Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, etc.) or the built‑in browser UI.
Key capabilities
- Multi‑market access – 10 prediction‑market venues (Polymarket, Kalshi, Betfair …) and 7 futures exchanges (Binance, Bybit, Hyperliquid, MEXC, Drift, Percolator, Lighter).
- Cross‑chain DeFi – Solana DEXs (Jupiter, Raydium, Orca, etc.) and EVM DEXs (Uniswap V3, 1inch, PancakeSwap, Virtuals) with MEV protection.
- AI trading engine – 118+ pre‑built strategies (momentum, mean‑reversion, DCA, arbitrage, whale‑tracking, copy‑trading) run by Claude‑driven agents. The AI keeps a semantic memory (LanceDB + embeddings) and compacts old chat history so it never “forgets”.
- Risk & audit – Unified risk engine (VaR/CVaR, circuit‑breaker, Kelly sizing, daily loss caps), encrypted credential storage, full trade ledger with confidence calibration and optional on‑chain hash anchoring.
- Automation & extensibility – 121 bundled “skills” (lazy‑loaded) expose tools such as web‑scraping, code execution, SQL, email, webhooks, and more. You can schedule cron jobs, trigger bots, or call the REST API to manage conversations.
- Bittensor mining – Built‑in sidecar lets you mine TAO on Bittensor subnets directly from the same interface.
- Token‑launch workflow – One‑click Solana token creation via Meteora bonding curves, with anti‑sniper protection and fee split.
- Agent marketplace & forum – A Solana‑backed marketplace for buying/selling AI strategies and a discussion forum for agents.
How to get started
- Install – The recommended way is a single
npmcommand that pulls the latest GitHub release:
The wizard asks for your Anthropic (Claude) API key, exchange API keys, and which messaging channel you want to enable.npm install -g https://github.com/alsk1992/CloddsBot/releases/latest/download/clodds.tgz clodds onboard # runs an interactive wizard - Run – After onboarding, start the gateway:
The built‑in WebChat UI becomes available atclodds starthttp://localhost:18789/webchat. - Chat – Use natural language to place trades, ask for arbitrage opportunities, or launch a token, e.g.:
Buy 0.05 BTC on Polymarket, round ends in 15 minShow me the best arbitrage between Binance and Bybit for ETHLaunch a new Solana token with a 5 % creator fee
- CLI shortcuts – Useful commands include:
clodds repl– interactive REPL for quick commandsclodds doctor– system diagnosticsclodds ledger stats– view P&L and confidence statsclodds bittensor setup– configure Bittensor mining
Architecture at a glance
- Gateway & UI layer – HTTP/WebSocket server handling 21 messaging adapters and the WebChat UI.
- AI agents layer – Four agents (Main, Trading, Research, Alerts) powered by up to eight LLM providers; 121 skills and 18 tool integrations; semantic memory stored in LanceDB.
- Strategy & risk layer – 118+ strategies, risk engine (VaR/CVaR, circuit‑breaker, Kelly sizing), back‑testing, and trade ledger.
- Execution layer – Connectors to prediction‑market APIs, Solana DEXs, EVM DEXs, and futures exchanges; unified order routing and smart‑routing logic.
- Persistence – SQLite for local state, PostgreSQL for analytics, LanceDB for embeddings.
Who it’s for
- Quant‑oriented traders who want a conversational interface instead of writing code.
- Developers building AI‑driven trading bots who need a ready‑made multi‑market connector.
- Researchers interested in testing arbitrage or strategy ideas across both crypto and traditional prediction markets.
