What it solves

Retail traders often have to switch between multiple platforms for charting, news, screeners, and portfolio management. This project provides a single conversational interface that consolidates market data, technical analysis, and portfolio management into one place using an AI assistant.

How it works

It functions as a set of "skills" or tools that an AI (specifically Claude) can call. It uses Python scripts to fetch data from Yahoo Finance and Massive (formerly Polygon.io) and can connect to Interactive Brokers (TWS/Gateway) for direct portfolio access. It can be deployed as a full repository for Claude Code/Cursor or as a lightweight MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for Claude Desktop.
