Pricing Adjustments for ChatGPT Business

To provide a more accessible path for teams requiring broad ChatGPT access, OpenAI has reduced the annual price of ChatGPT Business seats from $25 to $20 per seat. Standard ChatGPT Business seats continue to include Codex usage limits.

Adoption Incentives and Credits

For a limited time, eligible ChatGPT Business workspaces can receive $100 in credits for each new Codex-only team member who joins and starts using the tool, with a maximum cap of $500 per team.

Codex Adoption Trends and Enterprise Use Cases

Codex usage within teams has grown sixfold since January, with over 2 million builders using Codex weekly. Overall, more than 9 million paying business users utilize ChatGPT for work.

Companies such as Notion, Ramp, Braintrust, and Wasmer are utilizing Codex to accelerate engineering workflows, achieving faster execution and more repeatable processes.
