Grok Business allows users to pull data from tools such as Google Drive. This integration is built with permission-awareness, meaning Grok respects existing Google Drive permissions; users can only access files they are already authorized to see in Drive. To ensure accuracy and transparency, every answer generated from these sources includes citations with direct links to source documents, quote previews, and highlighted relevant sections.

Projects and the Collections API

For tasks requiring a large document store as a primary source—such as analyzing legal documentation or building financial models—Grok utilizes "Projects." These projects leverage the Collections API to perform agentic search across extensive datasets.
