visose/Robots
Create and simulate ABB, KUKA, UR, and Staubli robot programs.
What it solves
It simplifies the process of creating, checking, and simulating robot programs for a wide variety of industrial robot manufacturers. It removes the need to manually write manufacturer-specific code for different brands of robots, by providing a unified interface for program generation.
How it works
The project provides a plugin for Rhino 8 and Grasshopper, as well as a .NET API. Users can load robot systems, tools, and frames from XML/3DM libraries and use custom post-processors to generate manufacturer-specific code for brands like ABB, KUKA, UR, Staubli, Franka Emika, Doosan, Fanuc, Igus, and Jaka.
Who it’s for
Architects, designers, and automation engineers who use Rhino 8 and Grasshopper for robotic fabrication and Robotic own custom applications via the .NET API.
Highlights
- Support for a broad range of industrial robot brands (ABB, KUKA, UR, etc.).
- Integration with Rhino 8 and Grasshopper visual programming.
- Ability to load robot systems and tools from XML/3DM libraries.
