What it solves

Kaku is a macOS-only terminal emulator that provides a polished, "ready out of the box" experience for developers. How it works

Built on top of the WezTerm engine, Kaku bundles sensible defaults (like JetBrains Mono and automatic theme switching) and Mac-native shortcuts. It includes a dedicated AI assistant layer that users can configure with their own AI services (such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or Copilot CLI) via the kaku ai command. This allows the terminal to provide command suggestions when a command fails or convert natural language descriptions into executable commands.
