supermemoryai/company-brain
Open-sourcing our company brain - A teammate in your Slack that remembers everything your team says, and can go do the work.
What it solves
Company Brain solves the problem of fragmented organizational knowledge. In most companies, critical information is scattered across Slack threads, documentation, tickets, and individual employees' memories, making it difficult to find answers or maintain context without constant manual searching or questioning teammates.
How it works
It functions as an AI teammate integrated directly into Slack. It continuously monitors conversations to remember decisions, projects, and context. When a user asks a question or when a conversation requires specific knowledge, the bot can proactively chime in or provide answers based on the team's own history and connected tools. It uses a permissions graph to ensure it only accesses information the requesting user is authorized to see. For complex tasks, it can run code in a sandbox to generate charts, CSVs, or PDFs, and it integrates with external tools like GitHub, Linear, Notion, and Google Workspace via MCP.
Who it’s for
It is designed for teams and companies that use Slack as their primary communication hub and want to automate knowledge retrieval and routine operational tasks (like opening issues or reading PRs) without manually documenting everything.
