What it solves

It addresses the gap between technical code execution and professional visual design in automated PowerPoint generation. While many tools can create a .pptx file, they often produce slides with poor hierarchy, overcrowded content, incorrect image cropping, or inconsistent styles. This project ensures that the final output is not just a valid file, but a professional, client-ready presentation by integrating a visual verification loop.

How it works

The system separates the generation engine from the design orchestration. It uses the pptx-designer Python library to create editable slides, but the "Skill" layer manages the design process:

1. Requirement Confirmation: Defines the audience, goals, and visual direction.
2. Structural Planning: Plans the narrative and page-level layout before coding.
3. Generation: Produces an editable PPTX file using one of three modes: Build Mode (precise control), FreeStyle Mode (fast exploration), or VI Build Mode (brand/template compliance).
4. Visual Verification: Converts the PPTX to PDF and then to PNG. An LLM reviews these images to check for visual balance, density, and alignment with the initial requirements.
5. Iterative Refinement: If the PNG review fails, the system modifies the Python source code or content and re-renders until the design meets professional standards.
