Lieflat Charts provides a standardized visual grammar for AI agents to generate high-quality data visualizations and full-page HTML reports. It solves the problem of AI-generated charts often lacking professional editorial design, consistent styling, or a clear narrative structure, moving beyond simple library templates to create charts that prioritize data integrity and reading speed.

How it works

It is implemented as an "Agent Skill" (compatible with SKILL.md formats for agents like Moxt, Claude Code, and Codex). The system uses a set of design rules, a catalog of 49 chart types, and 12 full-page report templates. Agents follow a specific workflow: they analyze the data contract, determine the intended reading speed (detailed vs. quick), select the appropriate visual style, and then generate HTML/SVG outputs using a combination of hand-written SVG, Chart.js, and ECharts.
