SkillHub provides a centralized, self-hosted platform for organizations to manage their AI agent skills. It solves the problem of fragmented skill distribution by allowing teams to publish, discover, and govern reusable skill packages privately behind their own firewall, ensuring data sovereignty and access control.

How it works

SkillHub acts as a registry and governance layer. It uses a REST API and a CLI to allow users to upload skill packages (following the SKILL.md format). These packages are organized into namespaces with specific roles (Owner, Admin, Member) and publishing policies. The system supports semantic versioning, full-text search for discovery, and pluggable storage (local filesystem or S3/MinIO) for the actual skill files.
