What it solves

Skills Hub addresses the fragmentation of "skills" (configuration or capability files) used by various AI coding tools. Instead of manually copying the same skill files into multiple different tool directories (like Cursor, Claude Code, or Windsurf), users can manage them in one central location and sync them across all their preferred tools.

How it works

The application acts as a central repository (defaulting to ~/.skillshub) where skills are installed from Git repositories, local folders, or curated lists. It then uses symlinks or junctions to project those files into the specific global or project-level directories required by different AI coding tools. If symlinks are not supported by the system or the tool (e.g., Cursor), it falls back to copying the files.
