What it solves

Goose Skills provides a library of over 200 ready-to-use workflows (skills) that allow AI coding agents—such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex—to perform complex brand growth and marketing tasks. It bridges the gap between a general-purpose AI agent and the specialized needs of growth teams, enabling them to automate research, content creation, and competitive intelligence directly within their development environment.

How it works

The project integrates with AI agents via an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Once installed, the agent can search the GooseWorks catalog, download specific skills, and execute them. These skills consist of documentation (SKILL.md) and metadata (skill.meta.json) that guide the agent on how to use specific tools and scripts. Scripts run locally on the user's machine, while API requests are handled through GooseWorks servers to manage authentication and data retrieval from third-party providers.
