Huobao Drama is an automated production platform for AI-generated short dramas. It eliminates the manual effort of coordinating multiple AI tools by integrating scriptwriting, character design, storyboarding, and video synthesis into a single, end-to-end workflow.

How it works

The platform uses a series of AI Agents (powered by the Mastra framework) to handle different stages of production:

1. Scripting: A script_rewriter agent converts novels or ideas into formatted scripts.
2. Extraction: An extractor agent identifies and removes duplicate characters, scenes, and props.
3. Storyboarding: A storyboard_breaker agent breaks the script down into a sequence of shots.
4. Prompting: A prompt_generator agent creates the visual prompts for character images and video clips.

These prompts are then sent to integrated AI providers (such as OpenAI, Gemini, or Volcengine) to generate images and videos. Finally, the system uses FFmpeg to synthesize individual shots into a full episode with subtitles.
