antfu/skills-pack
Anthony's curated agent skills pack.
What it solves
AI coding agents (like Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, or Codex) work better when given clear, proven instructions. But finding and installing individual agent skills from different sources is a hassle. This package bundles a hand-picked set of skills — chosen by Anthony Fu — into one npm dependency, so a project gets them all at once and keeps them updated automatically.
How it works
You add @antfu/skills and its helper skills-npm as dev dependencies, then run pnpx skills-npm setup. That command adds a prepare script to your package.json, so every time you run npm install, skills-npm syncs the skills into the .agents/skills/ folder and links them into the skill directories of the agents it detects on your machine (or you can pick agents explicitly with --agents). Lock files record where each skill came from and should be committed. Removing the pack from your dependencies removes the skills on the next sync. The pack tracks each upstream skill’s default branch, and you can pull newer changes anytime with pnpx skills update.
Who it’s for
Developers who use AI coding agents and want a reliable, curated set of best-practice skills — covering planning, code review, test-driven development, Vue/Nuxt development, plain-English writing, and browser automation — without assembling them piecemeal. It’s especially useful for teams who want consistent agent behavior across a project.
Highlights
- One install brings in over 25 skills from well-known sources (Matt Pocock, shadcn, the Vue team, Anthropic, Vercel Lab, and more).
- Automatically syncs with every
npm installvia apreparescript, so skills stay up to date without extra steps. - Tracks upstream default branches, so you can update early with
pnpx skills update. - Skills are organized by category: workflow (e.g., grill-me, code-review, tdd), writing (simple-english, unslop), Vue & Nuxt, design, and browser (agent-browser).
