Adobe Skills for Agents

What it solves

This project provides a collection of specialized "skills" that allow AI coding agents (like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor) to perform complex tasks within the Adobe ecosystem. It removes the need for manual configuration or searching through documentation by enabling agents to directly execute tasks like analytics reporting, AEM site modernization, and App Builder project scaffolding.

How it works

The project functions as a plugin library. Once installed into your AI agent, these plugins expose specific commands (skills) that the agent can invoke. Some skills interact with Adobe APIs via MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to fetch live data or perform actions, while others guide the agent through multi-step development workflows, such as generating code, running tests, or creating technical documentation.

Who it’s for

This is designed for developers, solution architects, and data practitioners who use Adobe products and want to accelerate their workflows using AI-assisted coding tools. It is particularly useful for those working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, Workfront, and Adobe Commerce.

Highlights

  • Analytics Automation: Generate KPI digests, funnel analysis, and executive briefings directly from Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics.
  • AEM Modernization: Tools for site redesign, content migration, and Edge Delivery Services (EDS) development.
  • App Builder Support: End-to-end scaffolding, testing, and CI/CD setup for Adobe App Builder projects, including Workfront UI extensions.
  • Developer Productivity: Automates repetitive tasks like generating technical documentation, code assessments, and component creation.
  • Broad Compatibility: Works with popular AI coding agents including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor.
