AI skills for 1C:Enterprise 8.3.
1C Skills for Claude Code (and other AI agents)
What it is – a collection of Agent Skills that let large‑language‑model assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, etc.) work with the Russian 1C:Enterprise 8.3 development platform. The skills expose high‑level commands for the whole 1C development lifecycle – creating and compiling external processors/reports, editing metadata, managing databases, publishing to a portable Apache web server, and even driving the 1C web client for UI testing and video‑recorded tutorials.
Why it matters – without these skills an LLM would have to manipulate raw XML files and the 1C command‑line configurator directly, which is error‑prone and requires deep domain knowledge. The skill set gives the model semantic operations (e.g. /epf-init MyProcessing) that internally translate to the appropriate CLI calls, XML edits, or browser actions.
Key features (grouped by skill‑category)
| Category | Main abilities |
|---|---|
| External processing (EPF) | Create, build, unpack, validate external processors. |
| External reports (ERF) | Same set of operations for reports. |
| Templates / Help | Add/remove layout files, help resources for any object. |
| Spreadsheet (MXL) | Analyse, compile from JSON DSL, de‑compile, validate printable form layouts. |
| Managed forms | Create, analyse, compile from JSON DSL, edit, validate forms. |
| Roles | Inspect role rights, generate from a JSON DSL, edit, validate. |
| Data composition schemas (SKD) | Analyse, generate from JSON DSL, point‑edit, validate. |
| Metadata objects | Create, read, edit, delete, validate 23 different metadata types. |
| Root configuration files | Create, edit, validate the core configuration XML files. |
| Extensions (CFE) | Create extensions, borrow objects, patch methods, diff, validate. |
| Subsystems & Command Interface | Analyse, create, edit, validate subsystem definitions and CommandInterface.xml. |
| XDTO packages | Analyse, generate from XSD, export, edit, validate. |
| Database management | Create DBs, dump/load configuration (CF, XML, DT), run updates, load changes from Git, manage a config repository, administer extensions inside a DB. |
| Web publishing | Publish a 1C DB on a portable Apache, check status, stop, unpublish. |
| Web testing | Drive the 1C web client (navigate, fill forms, run reports) via Node.js, record video tutorials with subtitles and TTS, run regression suites. |
| Utilities | Image‑grid overlay for layout analysis, fetch platform XSD schemas. |
Installation / quick start
- Copy the skill folder into your project:
MyProject/ └── .claude/skills/ ← copy from the repo - Or install as a plugin (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, etc.) using the platform’s marketplace commands shown in the README.
- Or use the helper script
scripts/switch.pyto:- pick the target AI platform (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, …),
- choose the runtime (PowerShell – default on Windows, or Python for Linux/macOS),
- copy the skills or create symlink‑based links for live updates.
Typical command:
python tools/cc-1c-skills/scripts/switch.py claude-code --project-dir .
After that, simply describe what you want in natural language (or use the slash commands like /epf-init MyProc) and the assistant will invoke the appropriate skill.
Runtime options
| Runtime | When to use |
|---|---|
| PowerShell (default) | Windows machines where PowerShell 5.1+ is available. |
| Python | Linux/macOS, or Windows where PowerShell is unavailable. Install dependencies with pip install -r requirements.txt (lxml, Pillow, psutil). |
The switch.py script can toggle between them:
python scripts/switch.py --runtime python # use Python
python scripts/switch.py --runtime powershell # back to PowerShell
System requirements
- OS – Windows (PowerShell) or any OS with Python 3.9+.
- 1C:Enterprise 8.3 – needed for building/packing EPF/ERF; many skills work on the XML level without the platform.
- Node.js 18+ – required for the
/web-testskill that drives the browser.
Supported AI platforms (all use the open Agent Skills spec)
| Platform | Skill directory | Runtime options |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | .claude/skills/ |
PowerShell (main) / Python (port‑claude‑code‑py) |
| Cursor | .cursor/skills/ |
PowerShell / Python |
| OpenAI Codex | .codex/skills/ |
PowerShell / Python |
| GitHub Copilot | .github/skills/ |
PowerShell / Python |
| … (Augment, Cline, Kilo Code, Gemini CLI, etc.) | dedicated branches | PowerShell / Python |
Each branch is automatically rebuilt when the core skill set changes, so you can grab a ready‑made ZIP for your platform or generate a fresh copy locally with switch.py.
Documentation & spec references
The repo ships extensive markdown guides (docs/*.md) for each skill group and a spec index (docs/1c-specs-index.md) that details the XML and JSON DSL formats the skills operate on (e.g., EPF XML schema, Form DSL, Role DSL, SKD DSL, etc.).
TL;DR
- What – a toolbox of 44+ agent skills that let LLM‑based assistants fully manage 1C Enterprise development.
- Who – 1C developers who want to automate repetitive tasks with AI, or AI‑platform users looking to add a specialized 1C capability.
- How – install the skill folder (or plugin), pick a runtime (PowerShell or Python), then issue natural‑language requests or slash commands; the assistant runs the appropriate CLI, edits XML, or drives the web UI for you.
- Why – abstracts away the low‑level XML and command‑line intricacies, turning the whole 1C lifecycle into high‑level, AI‑driven operations.
