Nezreka/SoulSync
Intelligent Music & Video Automation Platform
What it solves
SoulSync is an automation platform for self-hosted media libraries that eliminates the manual effort of discovering, downloading, and organizing music and video content. It bridges the gap between streaming services (like Spotify, Tidal, and YouTube) and local storage, ensuring libraries are high-quality, well-tagged, and automatically updated.
How it works
The system uses a discovery engine to monitor artists and generate personalized playlists based on listening history and genres. It then employs a multi-source download pipeline (supporting Soulseek, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, etc.) to fetch missing tracks. To ensure quality, it uses AcoustID fingerprinting for verification and a suite of 14 enrichment workers to pull metadata from sources like MusicBrainz and Discogs. For video, it applies a similar pipeline using TMDB, TVDB, and other metadata providers to manage movies, TV shows, and YouTube content.
Who it’s for
It is designed for audiophiles and media collectors who prefer self-hosting their libraries via Plex, Jellyfin, or Navidrome, but want the automated discovery and curation experience typical of modern streaming platforms.
