在 DSH 对话中生成交互式可视化|Render model-generated interactive cards inside DSH conversations

What it solves

This project enables AI models within the DSH (Desktop Shell) environment to generate interactive, visual components directly inside the chat interface. Instead of receiving only text, users can interact with simulators, charts, comparison panels, or UI mockups generated on the fly by the model.

How it works

The plugin provides a visualize tool to the AI model. When the model calls this tool, it passes an HTML fragment that is rendered within a sandboxed iframe. The plugin supports two modes: a standard chat card for smaller components and a "page" mode for complex dashboards or full-screen mockups. It includes five built-in visual styles (e.g., "sketch," "terminal," "paper") that adapt to the system's light/dark theme, and allows users to define custom styling preferences via Markdown files.

Who it’s for

It is designed for DSH users who want to move beyond text-based LLM responses to create functional, interactive tools, data visualizations, or UI prototypes directly within their AI-powered workspace.

Highlights

  • Interactive UI Generation: Allows the model to create live, interactive elements like charts and simulators.
  • Persistent State: Cards are saved locally, allowing them to persist across sessions and remain viewable during chat replays.
  • Thematic Styling: Includes five distinct visual themes that automatically respect the host's light/dark mode settings.
  • Secure Execution: All generated content runs within a sandboxed iframe with strict Content Security Policy (CSP) to ensure the host environment remains protected.
  • Incremental Updates: Supports an update action, allowing the model to modify specific parts of an existing card without regenerating the entire component.
