iPolloWork – A Local‑First Agent Workbench

What it is

• A desktop application (Electron‑based) that lets teams coordinate multiple AI‑agent runtimes – OpenCode (default), OpenAI Codex, DeepSeek Harness – in a single project workspace.
• Provides a unified UI for managing agents, plugins/Skills, tasks, schedules, and the artefacts they produce (code, documents, presentations, designs, video).

How it fits together

• The iPolloWork desktop UI talks to a local Orchestrator service, which normalises API calls to the selected agent runtime (OpenCode, Codex, DeepSeek Harness).
• Each runtime keeps its own agents, Skills and tool adapters, but the orchestrator presents a common task‑state model to the UI.
• Optional iPolloCloud provides authentication, organisational policies and hosted worker lifecycle; the core product works without it.

Installation & development

• Pre‑built installers for macOS (ARM64 & Intel), Windows (x64 & ARM64) and Linux (AppImage) are on the GitHub Releases page.
• To build from source you need Git, Node 22+, pnpm 11 (via Corepack), Bun 1.3+, and platform‑specific build tools (Xcode CLI, VS 2022 C++ tools, or an Electron‑compatible Linux toolchain).
• Commands are wrapped in an ipollowork script: dev launches the desktop app, dev:ui runs only the web UI, build creates production bundles, package produces native installers.

Extensibility

• Plugins can be published to npm (e.g., deepseek-idesign, deepseek-ivideo) and loaded into DeepSeek Harness via the dsh plugin command.
