What it solves

This project provides a comprehensive system for calculating and analyzing Vedic astrology charts. It eliminates the need for external calculation websites or pre-generated PDFs by allowing users to generate a full chart directly from birth details (date, time, and location) and then proceed to detailed life analysis, career guidance, relationship compatibility, and birth time rectification.

How it works

The system is composed of eight specialized "Skills" that collaborate through a unified structured data contract (structured_data.md):

  1. Calculation & Extraction: vedic-calculator uses the Swiss Ephemeris (pysweph) to calculate the chart and timelines, while vedic-reader extracts data from existing files (PDFs, screenshots) and performs 16-point validation checks.
  2. Core Analysis: vedic-core performs a multi-stage audit of the natal chart, covering planetary positions, house diagnostics, and life sectors.
  3. Specialized Modules: Dedicated skills handle specific life areas: vedic-career (professional trajectory), vedic-love (emotional patterns), vedic-synastry (compatibility between two people), and vedic-rectifier (correcting uncertain birth times based on life events).
  4. Instant Query: vedic-prashna creates an independent chart based on the moment a specific question is asked.
