What it is – A self‑hostable web app that lets anyone create short vertical (9:16) UGC‑style video ads using state‑of‑the‑art text‑to‑video and image‑to‑video models. It reproduces the workflow of commercial services like Arcads or MakeUGC, but is MIT‑licensed, runs on your own infrastructure and has no per‑seat subscription.

Key capabilities

• Multi‑model generation – Choose from four Muapi‑exposed video models (Veo 3.1, Seedance 2, Grok Video, Happy Horse 1) and set model‑specific parameters (aspect ratio, duration, resolution, mode).
• Script‑first UI – Paste a marketing script, optionally embed up to 7 reference images with @imageN placeholders, then hit Generate to receive a finished video in seconds to minutes.
• Credits & billing – Built‑in Stripe integration provides three SaaS‑style plans (Free/Pro/Elite). Users start with 10 free credits; each generation consumes one credit. Credits can be topped up via Stripe checkout.
• Auth & persistence – Google‑OAuth via NextAuth.js, Prisma‑backed PostgreSQL stores users, creations, and credit balances. A dashboard shows each user’s generation history.
• Async webhook pipeline – The app posts a request to Muapi.ai, which later calls a /api/webhook/muapi endpoint with the final video URL. The front‑end polls the creation record and swaps a spinner for the video automatically.
• Extensible – Adding a new Muapi model is a ~10‑line edit in src/app/page.js and a single line in the generation route.

Getting started

1. Clone the repo and install dependencies (npm install).
2. Provide a .env file with PostgreSQL URL, Google OAuth credentials, a Muapi access key, and Stripe keys.
3. Run npx prisma db push to create tables, then npm run dev.
4. Open http://localhost:3000, sign in with Google, and start generating videos.

Deployment – Optimized for Vercel serverless hosting. A one‑click “Deploy with Vercel” button is provided; just configure the same environment variables and set the webhook URLs to the Vercel domain.
