What it solves

Managing community funds manually is tedious and error-prone. KomunitasAI tackles this by acting as a digital treasurer that automates the whole cycle: creating invoices, sending payment requests, tracking who has paid, recording income and expenses, sending reminders, and generating monthly reports. It removes the need for spreadsheets and manual follow-ups, especially for groups like RT/RW, arisan, cooperatives, and joint events.

How it works

KomunitasAI is built on ElizaOS, an agent runtime. You interact with it through chat (or a local dashboard) using simple commands in Indonesian. Under the hood, a plugin orchestrates several pieces:

• PostgreSQL stores communities, members, invoices, cash ledger, logs, and schedules.
• DOKU MCP/API handles payment creation: payment links, QRIS, and virtual accounts/bank transfers.
• WAHA sends WhatsApp messages (invoices, QRIS images, reminders) and receives incoming messages.
• DOKU webhook notifies the agent when a payment succeeds; the agent then marks the invoice as paid, records the income, and sends success notifications.
• Workflows can be run manually or scheduled (e.g., every minute, hour, or daily) to perform billing, monitoring, and reporting loops.

The payment flow is: agent creates invoice → DOKU returns payment details → WAHA sends invoice to member → member pays → DOKU calls webhook → agent updates records and notifies relevant people. All notifications are idempotent, so no duplicate WhatsApp messages.
