This offering allows institutions to deploy AI tools to students, faculty, and researchers at scale while maintaining robust security and administrative controls.

ChatGPT Edu provides universities with with the following technical capabilities:

GPT-4o Access: Users have access to OpenAI's flagship model, which excels in text interpretation, coding, and mathematics.
Advanced Tooling: The platform includes capabilities for data analytics, web browsing, and document summarization.
Custom GPTs: Universities can build custom versions of ChatGPT (GPTs) and share them within dedicated university workspaces.
Increased Limits: The service offers significantly higher message limits compared to the free version of ChatGPT.
Multilingual Support: The platform supports over 50 languages with improvements in both quality and speed.
Enterprise-Grade Administration: Administrative controls include group permissions, SSO, and SCIM (the latter coming soon to ChatGPT Edu and ChatGPT Enterprise).
