OpenAI is growing a team in Dublin through 2023 to support several key business functions. The new office will focus on the following areas:

• Operations and Go-to-Market: Driving the company's growth and deployment of AI technology within the European region.
• Trust, Safety, and Security Engineering: Enhancing the security and safety frameworks surrounding AI deployment.
• Legal and Regulatory Affairs: Managing legal requirements and legal work as part of the company's commitment to the European market.

Collaboration with the Irish Ecosystem

OpenAI is aligning its presence in Dublin with Ireland's National AI Strategy. The company intends to collaborate with the government, startups, and researchers to identify priorities for AI development and deployment.

To support the next generation of AI developers, OpenAI has partnered with Patch, a non-profit youth accelerator that provides mentorship and and access to technology for exceptional 16-21 year olds building entrepreneurial projects.
