• Université Laval (Institute for Intelligence and Data): Studying LLM behavior in varied cultural contexts and focusing on low-resource languages and dialects, including Indigenous languages and Quebec French.
• University of Saskatchewan: Applying AI to biomedical advancements, food and water security, public health, quantum computing, and public service.
• University of Toronto Data Sciences Institute: Supporting diverse research projects through a scientific review-based credit allocation process.

Support for the Canadian Startup Ecosystem

To foster commercial innovation, Anthropic is adding Amii, Mila, and the Vector Institute to the Anthropic for Startups program. This initiative provides founders building on Claude with community access and resources. Hundreds of affiliated Canadian startups will receive a minimum of $5,000 USD each in API credits.
