Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has partnered with OpenAI to roll out ChatGPT Enterprise to nearly 50,000 employees. This initiative transforms AI from a limited pilot program into a core organizational capability aimed at improving internal workflows and customer delivery.

Enterprise-Wide AI Adoption

CBA is deploying ChatGPT Enterprise at scale to ensure consistency and security across its workforce. By moving beyond isolated pilots, the bank is treating AI as a foundational platform to deliver better outcomes for customers across Australia.

According to Matt Comyn, CEO of Commonwealth Bank of Australia:

  • Leadership Engagement: Using leadership role modeling to drive adoption.
  • Hands-on Programs: Implementing internal experiments, forums, and the integration of AI into daily tasks.
