What it solves
This project provides a structured, AI-assisted workflow for creating high-quality scientific illustrations, including complex data plots and system architecture diagrams. It addresses the difficulty of maintaining consistent visual standards, professional formatting, and editability in academic papers, technical reports, and system design documentation.
How it works
The project uses a "Skill"-based architecture that acts as a bridge between AI assistants and a local library of assets. It offers two main channels: one for data visualization (using 145+ templates and 3 complete combinations) and one for architecture diagrams (using 196+ SVG assets). Users can interact with these via a local web-based workbench or by importing the "Skill" into an AI assistant. The system supports data-driven plot generation, semantic architecture diagram construction, and the ability to export diagrams as natively editable PowerPoint (PPTX) files.
Who it’s for
It is designed for researchers, engineers, and technical writers who need to produce professional-grade visuals for papers, system designs, or experiments and want to automate the tedious aspects of layout, styling, and data mapping while retaining manual control over the final output.
Highlights
- Extensive Asset Library: Includes 148 data plot templates and 196 reusable SVG architecture components.
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Supports intelligent template selection, data-to-plot mapping, and automated A/B testing for architecture diagrams.
- Native Editability: Exports architecture diagrams as native PowerPoint files where modules, text, and shapes remain individually editable.
- Design Consistency: Provides 7 standardized color palettes and font management to ensure professional, uniform visual identity across all figures.
- Flexible Operation: Offers both a file-based "Skill" for AI integration and a standalone local workbench for manual editing and project management.
