The database client for you and your agents. Postgres, MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL, ClickHouse and SQLite.
What it solves
Tamery is a database client that aims to be fast, simple, and visually pleasant, while actively helping rather than getting in the way. It supports many popular databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, ClickHouse, SQLite, and more), and it addresses common pain points like remembering connection strings, syncing setups across devices, and getting AI assistance without losing control over data changes.
How it works
You can use Tamery through the web app or a desktop app (available via Homebrew or Arch Linux repositories). After signing in (or skipping the account on desktop), you paste a connection string, an .env file, a JDBC URL, or even a psql command, and Tamery figures out the rest. Once connected, you can browse tables, sort/filter/edit cells directly, run queries with schema-aware autocomplete, and use an AI assistant that writes, explains, and fixes SQL—but never changes data without asking. Tamery also includes a schema visualizer, SSH tunneling, SSL support, and an MCP server so external agents (like Claude Code or Cursor) can query your databases, with every write requiring your click. The app works offline and syncs when you're back online, and connection strings are always encrypted—with the "Metadata only" option they never leave your machine.
Who it's for
Developers and data professionals who work with relational databases and want a polished, AI-assisted client that runs on desktop or in the browser, with optional multi-device sync and the ability to let AI agents safely query their data. It's open source, so people who care about transparency can review exactly how their credentials are handled.
