Matt Pocock skills 的简体中文本地化:人工审核每一次更新,定期同步上游,支持 Claude、Codex 和 DSH 插件。
What it solves
English-language agent skills can be hard for Chinese-speaking developers and models to use effectively. This project translates Matt Pocock's skills repository into Simplified Chinese, keeping the instructions and documentation in Chinese while preserving all technical names, commands, and paths so that installation and behavior stay identical. It solves the double friction of reading English instructions and mixing Chinese context with English prompts.
How it works
The repository syncs regularly with the upstream mattpocock/skills repo. Only natural-language descriptions are translated; directory names, skill names, command options, code blocks, paths, URLs, and tool identifiers are left unchanged. The translation is done by Codex and manually reviewed before merging. The project also adds an extra installation route for DeepSeek Harness (dsh), which lets you call any skill with a /zh-<name> prefix (e.g. /zh-grilling).
Installation can be done via the skills.sh installer (npx skills@latest add vinvcn/mattpocock-skills-zh-CN), as a Claude Code plugin (marketplace + install commands), or as a dsh plugin. After installing, you run /setup-matt-pocock-skills once per repo to configure issue tracker, labels, and docs location.
The skills themselves are small, composable instruction files that coding agents (like Claude Code, Codex, or other Agent Skills–compatible tools) can invoke. They are split into user-invoked skills (you type the name) and model-invoked skills (the agent can call them automatically when relevant). Examples include /grill-me for grilling requirements, /tdd for test-driven development, /code-review for reviewing diffs, and /improve-codebase-architecture for scanning deep-module opportunities.
Who it's for
This project is for Chinese-speaking developers who want to use agent skills in their own language, and for teams that work primarily in Chinese or use model weights tuned on Chinese text. It's also for anyone who prefers a translated version of Matt Pocock's practical engineering skills but still wants the exact same behavior as the original English repo.
