What it solves

Domain search tools usually only check if a name is available. This project provides a way to objectively score and rank domain names for startups based on specific brand criteria rather than just checking availability.

How it works

The app generates 60 creative domain candidates based on a startup description. It then performs a two-stage availability check using RDAP and DNS-over-HTTPS (via Cloudflare) to ensure accuracy across various TLDs.

To help the user decide, it uses AI (via Groq, OpenAI, or Anthropic) to score candidates on four dimensions: Pronounceability, Memorability, Brandability, and AI Fit. Length and Zone availability are computed locally. Users can adjust the weights of these scores to rank names according to their priorities.
