useLexora/Lexora

A self-evolved, sovereign desktop AI agent built for real-world action — beyond model wrappers and coding copilots. / 真实实践中自我演化的独立桌面 AI Agent。

What it solves

Lexora addresses the friction of switching between many tools and manually orchestrating tasks like organizing materials, polishing creative works, or planning daily schedules. It gives users a single AI companion that keeps working toward a stated goal across sessions, preserving context and execution history so unfinished work can be resumed later.

How it works

Users start a task by describing a goal in natural language. Lexora breaks the goal into steps and executes them on the desktop, reading and writing local files, calling external services via MCP, and using plugins for extra capabilities. It supports multiple AI "companions" (specialized agents) that can be assigned to subtasks, and users can point at specific text, files, or web content to add context-rich instructions. Conversation and execution logs are stored per task, and the agent can learn reusable work methods ("skills") and plugins generated through dialogue.

Who it's for

Lexora targets individuals who want an AI assistant that goes beyond chat—people who work with documents, creative projects, or repetitive daily tasks on Windows, macOS, or Linux desktops. It suits users comfortable configuring their own model services (API keys) and who value local data privacy and control over permissions.

Highlights

  • Goal-oriented autonomous execution with ongoing communication and branching conversations
  • Local-first: project files stay on the user's machine; API keys encrypted via OS; no cloud relay for model requests
  • Plugin system: install from market or generate plugins via dialogue, with UI, data, agent, and scheduling capabilities
  • Multi-agent collaboration: multiple companions with custom models and rules can work on the same task
  • Scheduled automation for recurring tasks with run history
  • Permission levels (read-only, manual approval, smart approval, full access) adjustable during execution
  • Token usage statistics per task and model
  • Workspaces, task management, search, and pinned entries for organization
  • Cross-platform desktop app (Windows, Ubuntu/Debian, Fedora, Arch, macOS Apple Silicon)
