What it solves

Distilly solves the problem of losing a person's unique professional expertise, judgment, voice, and behavioral patterns when they are no longer available. It allows users to capture the "playbook" of colleagues, the essence of personal relationships, or the mental models of public figures and turn them into reusable AI profiles that agents can use to emulate their specific way of thinking and responding.

How it works

Distilly acts as a person-modeling layer for AI agents. It processes source materials—such as chat logs (Lark, Slack, WeChat), documents, interviews, and public posts—and analyzes them based on the target "family" (colleague, relationship, or celebrity). It then generates a source-grounded Person Profile, which is packaged as an "Agent Skill" (a portable configuration). This skill can be installed into various agent hosts (like Claude Code, DeepSeek Harness, or Grok Build), enabling the agent to adopt the distilled persona's tone, decision-making heuristics, and knowledge base.
