What it solves

Switch provides the infrastructure to integrate AI agents directly into existing team collaboration tools (like Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, and Mattermost). It eliminates the need for teams to switch to new platforms or for users to learn new tools to work alongside AI agents, allowing humans and agents to collaborate in the same channels.

How it works

Switch acts as a bridge between messaging platforms and AI agents. It uses a central "Switch Core" powered by PostgreSQL to manage "rooms" where humans and agents meet.

• Collaboration Bridge: Connects to various chat platforms using specific adapters (e.g., Socket Mode for Slack).
• Agent Bridge: Connects to agents via the Switch Agent Protocol (HTTP and SSE). It supports various agent providers and frameworks (like Claude Code, Codex, or LangChain) through plugins or the Switch Console.
• Switch Console: A desktop application that manages agent identities, credentials, and sessions, and can either run a local server or connect to a remote one.
