Antigravity Skill Vault – What It Is

Antigravity Skill Vault is a public repository that bundles more than 300 "skills" – small, self‑contained packages that teach Google Antigravity’s AI‑agent how to perform specific developer‑oriented tasks. The skills are a direct port of the open‑source Claude Code Agents collection, repackaged into the format Antigravity expects.

How It Works

Each skill lives in its own folder under skills/ and contains a SKILL.md file describing when the skill should fire, what it does, and any safety warnings.
At the start of an Antigravity session the agent loads the metadata (name + description) of every installed skill. When a user’s request matches a description, Antigravity automatically activates the relevant skill.
A small npm‑based CLI (@rmyndharis/antigravity-skills) lets you search, list, install, update, and validate skills. The CLI can install skills locally to a workspace (.agents/skills/) or globally (~/.gemini/...).
The repository also ships a generated catalog (CATALOG.md, catalog.json, bundles.json, aliases.json) that the CLI uses for fast discovery and for creating bundles (e.g., core-dev, k8s-core).

Each skill encodes a repeatable workflow (e.g., scaffolding a FastAPI project) or a specialist persona (e.g., a security auditor that knows which checks to run).

Using the Vault

Search for a skill:

npx @rmyndharis/antigravity-skills search kubernetes

Install the one you need:

(Add --global to put it in the user‑wide directory.)
Run Antigravity – the agent will automatically pull in the installed skill when your prompt matches its description.
Update skills later with npx … update or reinstall a specific skill with --force.

Why It Matters

Token efficiency – installing only the skills you need keeps the agent’s prompt short, reducing LLM token usage and avoiding unrelated skill activation.
Standardised knowledge – each skill follows a strict SKILL.md template, making the behaviour predictable and safe.
Extensible – you can add your own skills by creating a folder, writing a SKILL.md, and regenerating the catalog.
