powerfooI/roamgate
A Herdr client for any screen. Control terminals, monitor coding agents, and review files and diffs from desktop or mobile.
What it solves
Roamgate provides a unified, mobile-friendly interface for managing AI coding agent sessions. It allows developers to maintain continuity in their workflow by letting them start a coding task on a desktop computer and seamlessly transition to a mobile device without losing access to their terminals, file explorers, or agent conversations.
How it works
Roamgate acts as a browser-based client and Progressive Web App (PWA) that connects to a running Herdr server. It bridges the gap between your local development environment and your mobile device, enabling you to inspect agent activity, review code diffs, run terminal commands, and manage workspace context from anywhere. It also includes an experimental workspace assistant called "Ranger" to help manage operations and background tasks.
Who it’s for
This tool is designed for developers who use Herdr for AI-assisted coding and want the flexibility to monitor or interact with their coding agents and development environments while away from their primary workstation.
Highlights
- Cross-device continuity: Pick up coding sessions on mobile exactly where you left off on desktop.
- Full workspace visibility: Access file explorers, terminal outputs, and code diffs directly from a browser or PWA.
- Integrated assistant: Includes "Ranger," an experimental tool for workspace management and background task scheduling.
- PWA support: Can be installed as a standalone app on iOS, macOS, and desktop browsers for a native-like experience.
