oil-oil/wolfcha

AI-powered Werewolf (Mafia) social deduction game where every player is controlled by top LLMs like DeepSeek, Qwen, Gemini, and more

What it solves

Wolfcha allows a single human player to experience a full game of Werewolf by filling the remaining seats with AI players. It eliminates the scheduling difficulty of gathering a large group of people for a social deduction game while maintaining the atmosphere of bluffing and deduction.

How it works

The game simulates a table of 8 to 12 players where each AI is assigned a stable personality and a hidden role. The AI players track the game state—including speeches, votes, and deaths—and make decisions based on their faction goals. The gameplay follows the standard Werewolf cycle: night actions for special roles and werewolves, followed by a day phase where players discuss, accuse, and vote to eliminate suspects.

Who it’s for

People who enjoy social deduction games like Werewolf but want to play solo or on-demand without needing a full group of human players.

Highlights

  • Role-based AI: AI players act according to their specific roles (e.g., Villager, Seer, Witch) and distinct personalities.
  • Table-aware memory: AI players remember previous conversations and votes to inform their suspicions.
  • Atmospheric presentation: Features retro visuals, lip-sync animations, and optional AI voice playback.
  • Diverse roles: Supports a variety of roles including White Wolf King, Hunter, Guard, and Idiot.
