mochiiwuff/capri-desktop
Capri, the Project Capricorn construct from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, living on your desktop and narrating what Claude Code is doing.
What it solves
Capri acts as a visual companion and interface for your coding AI tools, specifically Claude Code, Codex, or Antigravity. She provides real-time feedback on what your AI is doing, manages notifications, and offers a character-driven way to interact with your system.
How it works
Capri lives on your desktop, tracking your active windows and the status of your coding AI. She uses animations to signal AI activity, such as displaying a ticker for current tasks, showing red sparks when commands run, or teleporting to your mouse when she requires your permission. She can be controlled via a tray menu and supports a chat interface where you can talk to her in character, ask her to perform system tasks, or have her explain specific parts of your development environment.
Who it’s for
This project is for developers who use Claude Code or similar AI coding agents and want a more immersive, visual, and interactive way to monitor their AI's progress and manage system tasks.
Highlights
- Visual feedback: Capri displays live task tickers, data glyphs, and animations based on your AI's current actions.
- System integration: She can open apps, find files, set reminders, and manage media playback through simple chat commands.
- Interactive personality: She reacts to your PC's state, gets "jealous" if you use other AI tools, and develops an "attachment" level the more you use her.
- Flexible AI support: Works with local models via Ollama or various cloud-based AI services using your own API keys.
- Desktop presence: She can sit on window edges, peek from screen borders, and even "possess" windows with visual effects.
