What it solves

Kirara AI solves the problem of building and running a chatbot across many different chat platforms without writing separate integrations for each one. Instead of having to code your own bridge between a language model and every messaging app, this project provides a ready-made bot that can talk on QQ, Telegram, Discord, WeChat, Feishu, WeCom, and more. It also handles the more practical parts of running a bot: multi-turn conversations, image and voice replies, custom personalities, and a visual management interface.

How it works

Kirara AI acts as a middle layer between a large language model (like OpenAI, DeepSeek, Claude, Gemini, Qwen, Mistral, or others) and your chosen chat platform. You configure the model and the platform in a WebUI, then the bot listens for messages, processes them through the model, and sends back text, images, or even voice replies. It supports many features out of the box: keyword triggers, conditional triggers, admin commands, multi-account support, persona presets (e.g., a "catgirl" style), custom workflows, and a plugin system for extending functionality. There is also an HTTP API that lets you connect other platforms or custom frontends.
