What it solves

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) users who run long, branching conversations quickly lose track of where a thread went and which follow-up questions led where. dsh-synapse turns those sessions, follow-ups, and branches into a single visual map on an interactive canvas, so the whole reasoning tree is visible at a glance without inventing a second conversation history.

How it works

Synapse is a plugin installed into a DSH profile (desktop app or web). It projects already-committed DSH session events onto a canvas as cards connected by DSH's native fork relationships. It stores only the canvas layout and a short preview per turn; full message bodies are read on demand from the original DSH session logs, which remain the single source of truth. Switching sessions in the map or in native DSH keeps both views in sync. The plugin deliberately does not touch prompts, model requests, tool schemas, provider routing, or reusable KV-cache prefixes.
