SuggestArr automates the process of discovering and requesting new media content for home servers. Instead of manually searching for movies and TV shows, it analyzes user watch history from media servers and automatically suggests and requests downloads via Seer.

How it works

The system integrates with media servers like Jellyfin, Plex, and Emby to retrieve recently watched content. It then uses the TMDb API to find similar titles. For more personalized results, it offers a beta AI engine that uses OpenAI-compatible LLMs (such as GPT-4o-mini, Mistral, or Llama 3) to analyze watch history and provide reasoned recommendations. It can also integrate with Trakt to enrich watch history and avoid suggesting content already seen.
