How it works

Built with Rust and the GPU-accelerated GPUI framework, Navop provides a native interface for managing infrastructure. It integrates database drivers, terminal emulators, and remote protocols (SSH, RDP, VNC) into a unified tabbed environment. The application includes an "Agent Hub" that allows users to connect AI agents (such as Claude Code or Codex) to their local workspace, enabling the AI to interact with project files, Git branches, and terminal sessions. It also features an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, allowing users to expose specific host-authoritative tools to external AI agents with granular permission controls.
