danishashko/geo-aeo-tracker
Open-source AI visibility tracker. Track how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Mode mention and cite your brand. Self-hosted, MIT, bring your own keys.
What it solves
AI models like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini are increasingly replacing traditional search engines. If your brand is not visible in these AI responses, you are effectively invisible to a growing audience. This tool provides a self-hosted, open-source way to track your brand's presence, sentiment, and citation frequency across these AI platforms without the high monthly costs of proprietary enterprise software.
How it works
It uses a "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) model, where you provide API keys for data providers like Bright Data and OpenRouter to perform the heavy lifting. The software runs automated queries against multiple AI engines to collect data, which is then analyzed to generate visibility scores, competitor battlecards, and site audits. By default, all your data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB, ensuring you maintain full ownership. You can optionally connect a Supabase project if you need to sync this data across multiple devices.
Who it’s for
This tool is designed for marketers, SEO professionals, and founders who want to monitor their AI search visibility while maintaining full control over their data, code, and costs. It is ideal for those who prefer a self-hosted, transparent alternative to expensive, closed-source subscription services.
